I am Andre Garibay, the proud Owner and Founder of Bison Outdoor, a Veteran-Owned and Operated Company. Bison Outdoor is not just a business—it is a commitment to those who serve, protect, and have a passion for the great outdoors. Our company is founded on the values of Trust, Loyalty, and Commitment, and these principles fuel everything we do. Every product we design, every relationship we build, and every decision we make is driven by these values. We are an importer and distributor of tactical, military, outdoor, camping, and surplus gear designed with the utmost reliability and trust.
My journey began with my service in the United States Marine Corps from 1994-1999, where I came to understand the absolute necessity of dependable, high-quality gear. When you’re in the field, your gear is more than just equipment—it’s a part of your lifeline. It’s that trust in your gear that inspired me to create Bison Outdoor. I wanted to build a company that would deliver the same level of dependability that I relied on during my service.
After my time in the Marine Corps, I found my true calling in the Army Navy Industry, an industry I grew to love and respect. This field has allowed me to continue serving those in uniform, whether military, law enforcement, public safety, or those who love the outdoors. I am driven by a deep passion to provide the very best gear to those who choose to be on the front lines or enjoy the outdoors. My mission with Bison Outdoor has and will always be clear—to give back to those who give so much for our freedom and safety.

I am proud to stand alongside two incredible individuals who share this vision—Alex Valenzuela and Chris Coletta. Alex has worked with me for 13 years and is an outdoor enthusiast with a wealth of experience in the shooting sports industry. He’s the one who gave me the nickname “Bison” 10 years ago, and it has stuck ever since. Chris, who has worked with Alex and me for 9 years, brings the same passion and dedication to our mission. Together, we have built a company that is not just a business, but a brotherhood.
Bison Outdoor was born from a dream—a dream to provide gear that can be trusted, a dream to support those who serve, and a dream to give back to the industry that has given so much to us.
